You can reach the Napf from two cantons. From the canton of Bern and from the Lucerne side. A wide variety of tours can be made in the beautiful area of the Napf. All the tours are well marked and easy to follow. The yellow signs guide you to your destination. The Napf can only be reached eather hiking or biking. There is no areal lift to the Napf and no cars can reach it.

 

The shortest climb to the Napf is from the Berne side, the Mettlenalp. From the Lucerne side you can start at the Ei, Wiggernhütte, Holzwegen, Bramboden or Niederänzi.

 

The Napf area allows extensive hiking and biking tours also over several days. On the lefthand side we show you several propositions. Please make further enquiries at local tourist informations (Huttwil, Willisau).

 

By reaching the summit you get a great view over the Bernese alps, the Jura and half of Switzerland. Detailled panorama informations show you the whole view.

 

Please be aware that the whole Napf area is protected. We want to keep everything in its natural and typical way. Therefore we ask our guests to respect nature. Please reclose gates, to make sure that cows and sheep stay were they belong.
